Marriage in different culture leads to different perspective on bigamy and monogamy. In my opinion, people who married with different culture is because there is some chemistry between them, otherwise, they are excited to know, learn and also practice another culture. Besides that, it may leads to bigamy also. The story is presenting the view of bigamy which is also popular with the name of polygamy among man. When Tok Imam decided to marry Mariah even though he is already have Che Yam as his first wife. Tok Imam in this story is practicing bigamy. In today Malaysia, it is very typical because many of man in Malaysia are practicing bigamy and also the intermarriage instead of monogamy. This is one of the satisfactions in their life by having two or three wives in one time.

Journal Entry 7 (tragedy of my third eye)

What do I think about bullying is an activity make buy a group of people who have a bad manners in living in society. This is a negative behavior happen in our society nowadays. Commonly, youngsters like to practice bullying just to show that they are strong towards the weak ones. This is not a good behavior to practice on because it will affect other people in the society.
The third eye is represents her feeling inside her heart because she is always being underrates by every person around her including her mother. She felt very sad to think about her fate because everyone seems like they don’t like her so much.

Journal Entry 6 (mala)

Mala become a new mala after Lucy teach her to improve her dress up. After she changed, Sanker become more in love with her. All what Mala wanted is a child and after 2 years later, she pregnant and they lastly have a baby boy. Mala live happily with her child and she works again at Sanker’s office as his secretary. She already improve her skill in become a secretary and she know how to treat customer, how to manage Sanker’s schedule everyday. Sanker did not tempered anymore towards her and they life happily ever after.

Journal entry 5 (The Color Purple)

Women in The Color Purple story were facing with different changes among them. The changes that Celie, Shug and Sophia go through are based on what had happened in their life.

At the beginning of the story, Celie is a daughter of a stone hearted man who is always raped his daughter until Celie give birth baby girl and boy. These babies he used to sell to other people to get money from them. After that, someone come to propose his daughter to be his wife because he can’t handle his children. Because of Celie sister is still young, Celie has to replace her to become that man’s wife. As soon as she gets married, she has to sacrifice everything in her life including her beloved sister. She is more became her husband’s slave, she did the house work, manage his husband’s children and everything. She felt really lonely after separated with her sister until she lost contact with her. She has nothing in this world except a sister and two children but then, they are not with her until she is old. She was cruelly treated by her husband because her husband doesn’t love her. At the end of the story, she became a friend with Shug, her husband’s ex-wife until she get help from her to get her right back and changed to be an up-to-date woman.

Shug in this story is a singer and also an ex-wife to Celie’s husband. She is a very famous singer but, before she became a nice woman, she goes through many conflicts in herself. At first, she doesn’t like Celie and she makes Celie as her slave also. She asked Celie to bath her and prepared her meal until after everyday she spent her time with Celie, she became nicer to her. She changed her to wear more proper dress and fight for her right. She helped Celie to escape from her husband’s power.

Sophia is a wife to Celie’s husband’s son. She is a big young girl who felt in love with that boy. She is a very happy go lucky person and very aggressive person. After she gets married, she always argued with her husband until she divorced. After that, she became a maid in an English house. She changed to become a passive and weak person after it.

Journal Entry 4 (Hungry Ghost)

The narrator is searching for the happiness and the peacefulness. In my perception, the grandfather wanted the narrator to relieve him because he felt there are no happiness and the peacefulness in the next world after he died. He cannot enjoy his life like what he has enjoyed in the real world. He wanted the narrator to relieve him from the agony of hell which hurt him so much and also to relieve him from the difficulties in there. The offering food, ‘hugging grave’ and burning money symbolize helps from people in the real world to him who stay in the next world. Offering him food symbolize that the person is provide him with some food for him to use in there, the hugging grave is to show that their family show their love to him even though he is not there together and burning the money for him to spend in his vacation.

Last letter to my parents,

Mum and dad, first of all I would like to say sorry on what have I done since I was a baby until now at the end of my life. You have done the best for me just to make sure that I grew up perfectly and become a person who always hurt you. I have promise to a good daughter to you and become a very useful person one day but, I am so sorry for the difficulties that I faced which I can’t make our dreams come true. I love you so much. Remember me until the end of your life.

In this quote, Mason trying to describe about the japanese attitude which is deprives people's life. In this short story, the japanese army deprive the prisoners life such as their amount of food and drink, their way of dress, and a way of life. all these things are under japanese control. they can't live freedomly with their own life. What deprives me is, living in this college is like living in a prison also. it takes my outside world to live with my family and even to wear casual attire. it takes my freedom to live. What necessary for mason's life at that time are his way of life, his food and drink, his dress, his freedom and also happiness. What is necessary for me to have in life are, to have a happy family consist of mum, dad and siblings. also to have food and drinks which can give me appetite to eat, to live happily in my own house with my family, to wear appropriate dress, to have lovely friend and lecturer to make my life smoothly. when i grow up, i need to have job which related to my career, have myn own house and car before i have my own family. how to get them, i just need to study hard to make sure i get my dream life.

The narrator realize that sazalie looking at her with full of anger and puzzled expression. he didn't know that salmah was pretending to be nice in front of him. the narrator really hates this. she want sazalie know the true things. salmah was very mad at her because the narrator humiliated her in front of her boyfriend and others. without thinking of the narrator's feeling, she told all the people there about what had happened in the train just now. peoples are laughing at the narrator when they heard about the 'pondan'. the narrator's face became red and she shout 'SHUT UP!!' suddenly, sazalie slap salmah's cheek. he didn't like a girl who is selfish and try to make herself satisfied by doing thing like that. at that time, the narrator told sazalie everything about the real salmah and sazalie realize that he had chose a wrong person. after that the narrator and sazalie became a best friend while salmah had a lot of revenge towards the narrator and sazalie.

Based on the presentation that presented by my friends about book's review, i was attracted to one of the story that presented by hazemyn that title 27 dressess. i've watch that movie which is a little bit different with the novel. in that story, the main actress is not a wedding planner but in the novel she is the wedding planner. 27 dresses is about Jane is the sad singleton, lonely but eternally hopeful. She's in love with her boss, who treats her like the world's most lovingly cared-for doormat, and she has been an eager and devoted bridesmaid 27 times, with her leftover dresses — in all their fruit-hued, puffy-sashed, prom-discard plumage — lined up in the closet to prove it. Contrary, Kevin is the hunky solo male, doesn't really into love, but somehow manages to pen the tenderhearted ''Commitments'' column in the Sunday wedding section of the New York Journal. they then found out that they a lot in common as he does capture her attention. Staring him in the eye, she asks: Does he really feel all those warm, sincere, special-day sentiments? Or is he just a cynic spooning out ''romantic crap'' for women like her? this is a very intresting story suitable for everyone to watch it.

STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

This is a korean drama series. This story is about a lady named Han Jung Suh and a guy named Soon Joo. This is a sad ending story which involve the main actress into a tragedy. Both of them are a bestfriend since they were kids. when they grew up, they fall in love but time separate them. they didn't meet about 5 years because Jung Suh involved in an accident 5 years ago and she loosing her memory so can't remember anything. Her step sister trying to kill her and trying hard to grab everything that Jung Suh had before. Fate make them meet again and they fall in love again but she realise that she had a cancer because of the accident. she became blind and lastly she died.
this story can match to a story named p/s i love you which is her husband died in that story.

last 19 years, a beautiful mum borned a cute liltle girl during the hari raya aidiladha at around 8.30 in the morning. that lil girl was named as syamimi bt saifudin. she became the only princess in her family and grew up with full of joy and sadness. today, she already become a nice teenage girl..and that girl is ME!!!

hUH..today..after 3 months i've being through all the sweet and bitter life in college and now i at home sweet home to fullfill my holiday just for a week only!! 3 months VS 1 week !! huh.. a lot of assingment to finish and all these things make me live without freedom! haha.. what can i do.. this is my responsible as a student right?? here i want to state that i really2 thanks to ALLAH which gave me a good tried last sem which i grab gpa 3.52 and already got COPA AWWARD from college. for all of ur information, hahaha,, i never got even 3 pointer in my life.
but after i get into college and start my first year, i tried my best until i achieved it. and for this year is my second trial either i still consistent and i can maintain my pointer or not..back to my assingments given by lecturers, it's quite hard to do + i'm lazy to do it. haha.. yeahh..everybody can understand my situation because ermm..sometimes back home..make mself quite lazy..heee...that's all for this time..i'm going to TESCO to have some meal..
